NAC ISSA Serves the Local Community

The North Alabama ISSA chapter is pleased to be able to donate four computers for use at Fist Stop. These computers will be used to help the homeless in our community. Ms. Hicks the Operations Manager for First Stop stated "The computers that were donated will be utilized by our clients in numerous ways including: obtaining important documents, applying for employment, and researching information."

“First Stop seek out the homeless in our community delivering aid and serving basic needs. Some of the services we provide include: help with housing, meals, basic health care, mail services, laundry services, and transportation help. Our clients receive case management to work personally with addressing obstacles in their lives, developing important life skills, seeking full-time employment, and ultimately obtaining independent housing" states Ms. Hicks.

The North Alabama Chapter of ISSA would like to thank all the businesses that donated equipment. It helps when we can recycle equipment and put it to good use in the community where we live.

If your business has computers that can be donated please see our web site here for more details: NAC ISSA Giving Back
