SoundWay sponsors NAC-ISSA's September lunch
Since 2019, Industry has been of the opinion that the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) will either fail or companies will not have to really worry until 2025. The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) recently released a memorandum signaling its increasing willingness to review contractor compliance with cybersecurity standards in its contracts and take action against noncompliant contractors.
This workshop is led by SoundWay’s Chief Cybersecurity Officer, Carter Schoenberg. SoundWay will provide some detailed insights that are widely being overlooked by industry that may result in either 1) numerous businesses not being able to continue supporting the Department of Defense or 2) breach of contract – resulting in civil actions by the Justice Department. In both scenarios – you lose.
By the end of this workshop, attendees will learn how to:
Better define reasonable timeline and reasonable budgets to conform with CMMC
Position their organizations with actionable next steps with highly effective progress tracking using Apptega
Dramatically reduce their exposure to a breach of contract with the DoD
